Casa de Colon: Christopher Columbus is believed to have stayed for different periods in the Casa de Colon in the historical quarter of Vegueta in Las Palmas on his way to the Americas. The house now serves as a museum displaying relics of early transatlantic voyages and pre-Columbian cultures, as well as acting as a cultural centre for the study of the Canaries’ relationship with the Americas.
Reptilandia: Those with a soft spot for reptiles should visit Reptilandia, situated a little off the beaten track, near Agaete in the northwest of the island. Have been renting from you for some time now. The only problem here was that in this category (small cargo) all the vehicles were in bad exterior shape. Mechanically_ and inside was clean and very acceptable. Exterior was missing tire cover_ and had big dents on the front wing. Look at other Berlingos_ but all were in similar state. Personnel was friendly and efficient.
